This Slackbot is a sample app demonstrating how Vectara can power a conversational bot. The bot can be added to any channel, after which it indexes content messaged in that channel from then on. Afterward, any person can ask the bot questions. It treats these questions as a search and responds with the most relevant result. The bot shows off how to index and search content as well as making use of Vectara’s metadata features for both filtering and display purposes and also showcases the neural reranker.
