Vectara

SaaS Billing Policy

Terms and Conditions

1. Usage-based Pricing

Vectara bills by usage of the product on a bundle basis. Bundles consist of a number of queries, an amount of storage, and/or a number of generative requests to the platform. Once you add a credit card to your account, you will be automatically billed on a monthly basis for the number of bundles you consumed.

Every plan also has a minimum monthly standard bundle requirement, starting at 20 bundles per month ($100/mo) for the Standard plan. All minimums are identified on the pricing page or in an order form if you've signed one.

Our billing policies are detailed in our online customer agreement. You can always see your current usage, upgrade your plan, or cancel your account inside of the Vectara Console billing area. Invoices will be sent to the billing contact on file automatically each month with details of how many bundles were consumed.

2. Refunds and Cancellations

As a rule, Vectara does not offer refunds for partially consumed bundles. If you wish to no longer be billed for additional consumption, you must delete your account. If, at the end of your billing cycle, you had consumed some number of bundles during the month, you will be billed for just the portion that you consumed and an invoice will be sent.

If you believe your account has been billed in error, contact ar@vectara.com

3. Reseller Obligations

Reseller represents, warrants and agrees that: (a) Reseller will use its best efforts during the Term to market and sell the Vectara Service in the Territory in a manner that reflects favorably upon Company and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (including, without limitation, export control laws and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act); (b) Reseller will keep accurate records and accounts with respect to Vectara Service sold, (c) Reseller agrees to cooperate and assist Company in bringing legal action against any End User for any activity in violation of Company’s Terms of Service; and (e) Reseller will not issue any press release or make any other public statement regarding the parties’ relationship absent Company’s prior written approval.

4. Non-payment

In the event that you have not paid an outstanding invoice within 30 days, Vectara retains the right to delete your account and any associated data.
